Battle Of The Sounds: Who Is Better? Cheque Vs Ruger Pin It

Year after year, the Nigerian music business witnesses and welcomes new artists. These artists come with promising careers and high-quality products. These newcomers are viewed as the next generation, the next rated artists to keep an eye on, and big forces poised to take up the baton from the industry’s top performers.

Wizkid, Olamide, Davido, Kizz Daniel, Mr. Eazi, Mayorkun, Joeboy, and Rema, to name a few, can vouch for the aforementioned assertion.

Cheque and Ruger almost got the same amount of ovation when they got launched into the music business by separate record labels in 2019/2020, and they all stormed the year with their distinct abilities and sounds.

The focus of this topic is now on these two exceptional performers, Cheque and Ruger. We want to talk to music lovers about their past report (performance) and output (Songs/Ep) to figure out who should come in first? Whose sound is better?

CHEQUE

Cheque got signed by Phyno’s Penthauze Records in 2019. The singer went on to set the pace by coming out with his hit song ‘Zoom’. Cheque went further to create one of 2020’s top music, ‘History’ featuring Fireboy. This is a sign of bigger things to watch out for with Cheque. The Ondo-born singer made magic with his EP, Razor but nothing tops the high hopes we have for the songwriter.

By the way, have you heard what he did with Olamide on ‘LOML’?

RUGER

Ruger’s buzz almost started on his 2020 birthday when it was announced that D’Prince’s Jonzing world had signed him on. However, Ruger’s deal is in affiliation with Columbia Records and Empirica Music. The D’Prince’s protege broke into the limelight officially when he released his hit single ‘Bounce’ which is still going strong and attracting a lot of attention right now. Ruger didn’t stop there; he also has a body of work named ‘Pandemic (EP)‘, a six-track album.

By the way, if you are concerned about why Ruger covers one eye with an eyepatch, you should click here.

This is a close and tight atmosphere, but we still need something different. Now, armed with the aforementioned information on both great performers, as well as your own facts and opinions, Between Cheque and Ruger, whose sound do you think is better?
