A new anthem just hit the street and fans are surprised to see Funke Akindele-Bello, Chioma Akpotha, Eniola Badmus and Bimbo Thomas Shock them With Fierce Rapping Skills In New Music Video, Askamaya Anthem.
Ahead of the new movie that is set to be released on December 25th 2020, Omo Ghetto (the saga), nollywood actress and producer, “Funke Akindele” and her husband JJC Skills has released the official soundtrack of the movie which they titled Askamaya Anthem.
Askamaya Anthem is a blend of Afrobeat and Hip-hop in the Yoruba and Igbo language that has Funke Akindele-Bello, Chioma Akpotha, Eniola Badmus and Bimbo Thomas as real-life rappers who deliver their powerful lines as their alter egos in Omo Ghetto The Saga.
Omo Ghetto is based on the societal vices by a women-dominated gang. It was first released in 2010. This new slapping jam was written by Martinsfeelz and Kobi Nwamama, and produced by Puffy Tee.
As your storm various cinemas this season, also look out for the new dance that came with this anthem; “the Sumeyin dance”. This is an unexpected but pleasant surprise from Funke Akindele-Bello and her husband, JJC Skills.
