Damilola Afolabi, aka LAX, who is a Nigerian Recording Artiste, started out as a rapper and was part of a three-man group called Flyboiz while he was still in high school. He got signed into StarBoy Entertainment after releasing the critically acclaimed song titled “Caro” which won him the “Diaspora Artiste of The Year” at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards 2014.

The 27year old singer is currently signed to Rasaki Music Group. He recently joined the Landlord Association Of Lagos after flaunting his new house on his social media pages.

The fists song on the album “Loose My Mind” has LAX sing a love song about his love for a girl. It is an infectious standout track that displays the singer’s Afropop nous. Commando features Perruzi also known as Hancho Vibes and TimiBoi. LAX serves us mellow beats in ZaZa Vibes.

“Sade” employs a tropical feel and sensual lyricism reminiscent of the famed British superstar. It would have you slowly grinding your waist to the music. “Bum Bum” has LAX encouraging the girls to move their body to the beat. He features Omar the Dj on this Jam.

“Sempe” was produced by Clemzy. It has good afrovibe with catchy lyrics and relaxing beats. “Superman” encourages his lover to always come to him, no matter what is is she wants. He is willing to be her superman because of how much he loves her.

“Feeling” with it slow vibe has LAX singing about whining the waist. It is going to be a hit in clubs. Lax teamed up with Mr Eazi to record Perfect. It talks about how love makes you accept your partner how they are because nobody is perfect.

“Jara” is the 11th song on the album. He teams us with Tekno to deliver this hit jam. The last song on the album is a remix of Gobe. He features Tiwa Savage and Simi on this track. It is a track that encapsulates L.A.X’s sound—African rhythms blended with jazzy notes.

Here is what LAX says about his new album “NO LONG TALK . ALBUM OF THE YEAR JUST DROPPED , MAKE SURE YOU TELL EVERYONE THAT YOUR FAVORITE JUST SHUTDOWN EVERYWHERE. GOD BLESS EVERYONE THAT MADE THIS POSSIBLE !!!!! “
