Niniola from Lagos to Jozi EP Review. Pin It

One time project fame participant Niniola Apata recently released a four track Extended Playlist Lagos to Jozi.

Niniola who began her music career in 2013 created a stage for herself after her debut single ‘Ibadi’ produced by Sarz in 2014. Since then, she has carved a niche for herself as that feminine artist whose music every female gender would be so excited to hear.

Recently her album ‘Colour and Sounds’ got a grammy recognition and it is safe to say Niniola has so far done the Nigeria Music Industry proud. The EP is rooted in a fusion of essential Amapiano of the South Africa kind but Niniola’s voice roars Nigeria. It features South African artist Oskido, Lady Du and Ghanian DJ Guiltybeatz.

The most impressive record on this EP is ‘I Did It (Bum Bum).’ Niniola delivered her trademark sex-filled chatter and innuendos which gave the music all the attention its receiving. Although this contains previous singles, the Amapiano records are also much better than those on ‘Colors and Sounds.’

And one must commend the producer and sound mixer of this project, they delivered excellently. We hope to hear more from the queen of afro-house but we must say, she is doing us all proud.
