Runtown releases his third single this year. It’s an Afrobeat vibe and he tags it “If E Happen For Lagos”
It is a follow-up to his previous release, ‘Kini Issue’ which he recently dropped a video for and starring his baby Girl, model Adut Akech Bior as a guest act. “If e happen for Lagos” like the name implies talks about how life is in the state and key elements for survival.
Douglas Jack Agu known by his stage name Runtown, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer. In 2014 he released “Gallardo”, a song which features vocals from Davido and was released as the first single off his debut studio album Ghetto University.
On 4 November 2016, Runtown released the ballad “Mad Over You”, which charted at number 38 on the Billboard Twitter Top Tracks chart. Runtown told The Fader magazine that the song was inspired by African beauty.
