On the first episode of musicwormcity’s original series, “Why we love”, we would be featuring the artist, Oxlade. Ikuforiji Abdulrahman Olaitan popularly known as Oxlade is a rising talent with a unique sound that has released chart-topping songs since his debut in the Nigerian music scene. Keep reading to find out why we love this artist and why we think you should check him out.

  1. Uniqueness: He has a unique sound that you just have to vibe with. He never goes wrong with his music.
  2. Consistency: With just a few years in the Nigerian music industry, he has worked with big acts such as M.I Abaga, BOJ and SDC (Show Dem Camp), Davido to mention a few. Wow!
  3. He was barely 10 years old when he became the junior choir leader in his church. Musical talent et leadership skills; You’ve got to love him.
  4. He actively participated during the #EndSars protest: He is one of the celebrities that came forward to join the protest and while he suffered some injuries, his manager Ojah B was unlawfully arrested by the Nigerian police.
  5. He’s just 24! We like them young.
