Award-winning singer, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun has once again broken record with his hit single ‘Essence.’
The 31-year-old music sensation made another history when his hit single which features Tems and Justin Bieber moved up the polls.The Grammy award winning super star’s hit single, Essence made history when it took the No. 1 position on U.S Urban Radio.
Jada Pollock, his manager and third baby mama announced the feat on her instagram page.
Also, Essence was #16 on the Billboard hot 100 chart, after the remix with pop star Justin Bieber was released. A week later, the hit single has gone up the polls three places.
This news came after Shazam through its instagram page announced that Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ has become the most searched song on the app in the US.
Shazam is an app that identifies music by listening to their short audio clips. The Apple-owned app announced Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ as the most Shazamed song in the country.
The Grammy award winning superstar released Essence in his “Made in Lagos” album. Wizkid has also released ‘Made in Lagos – Deluxe Edition’.
