Tenstrings Music institutes
Tenstrings Music School is the most publicized and most patronized music training institution in Nigeria. The school was founded by Akapo Emmanuel in 2007. Her study centers are located in Ikeja, Lekki/Ajah, Surulere, Festac Town, Port Harcourt and Abuja although, most of its Centre’s provides accommodation facilities for students with ranges of music courses; Music Performances, Advanced Diplomas, Music Production, Instrument and voice training, the recently introduced Rock School (RSL) Diploma.

Peter King College.
Peter King College of Music was founded by the legendary Nigerian multi-talented instrumentalist Adeyoyin Osubu popularly known as Peter King in 1982. It is reputed to be the first privately-owned music schools with residential facilities in Nigeria.
The school commenced its operation in Maza-Maza Lagos but has since expanded and moved to its permanent location in Badagry, Lagos.
The College of Music has produced stars such as Asa, Dotun Bankole, Peter Sadibo and Lagbaja to mention a few. As regards its curriculum content, the school prepares students for the professional examinations of Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship of the Trinity, Royal and London Schools of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Muson school of music
Musical society of Nigeria can be said to be the most prestigious music body in Nigeria established in 1983 primarily to offer basic music training for children and adults interested in learning how to sing or play any musical instrument. In 2002 the school received the Nigerian Federal Government’s accreditation to award Diplomas in Music which can be equated with those awarded by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in the United Kingdom. This led to the setting up of the two-year MUSON Diploma School in 2006.
In terms of quality and content delivery, MUSON school of music ranks the highest in the country.
