Wizkid‘s Made in Lagos album has become the longest-charting Nigerian album in Billboard World Albums history.
Made in Lagos, the No. 1 album on the Billboard World Albums List, has spent a total of 46 weeks on the chart since its debut last year by Wizkid. This was revealed on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021.
He is presently on tour in the United States in support of his new album, Made in Lagos. The record, which was published last year, dominated the charts within a few weeks of its debut and has stayed strong ever since. That streak was bolstered even further when Essence featuring Tems gained traction on a worldwide scale.
The song is presently being remixed by American pop artist Justin Bieber.
Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album is now in its 46th week on the Billboard World Albums list, making it the longest-charting Nigerian album of all time. According to predictions, Essence is also on its way to being the number one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
