Simisola Ogunleye popularly called Simi is an award-winning singer, songwriter and one popularly known for her outspoken nature against Gender Inequality.
After her pregnancy announcement with her single ‘Duduke’, Simi has constantly come out to say being a woman and a mother is hard work and should be appreciated by the society. One of our favorite quotes of hers is “I know men go through sexual assault too! I acknowledge it, but women and children are more vulnerable. Let’s fight for and protect the most vulnerable in society.”

Famous Yoruba actress Mercy Aigbe also didn’t slack on this thread as she also came out to say “Na lie! Her hubby no beat am! She comot for the man house so she can be free to do ashewo”.
